-developmental abnormality
-resultant arteriovenous fistula
-may grow in size within time
-may cause intracerebral hemorrhage
-increased risk of bleeding commonly between ages 10 –30 years
-common presentation may include: seizure and headache

Therapeutic intervention includes:
-embolization
-radiation therapy
-surgical excision
